We make it easy for Troop Leaders to enjoy events at
our studio. Bring your troop to WhistleTree Pottery for a fun & creative social time and activity. Or, we can come to
your location. Another option is Pottery-to-Go,. We provide you with all the materials & instruction you need to paint
pottery.Return it to us to be glaze fired.
Bright Ideas: Use one of our activities as your craft at your end of the year party * Schedule a get together and make
something special with your sister troop * Have a Moms & Daughters pottery painting or clay event * Make a special Mother’s
Day or Father’s Day handprint gift * Earn the Spring Green Petal "Considerate and Caring" by making items to
donate to a nursing home, church or group home.
Pottery Painting:
Select an item or price limit for your troop to paint or let them paint and decorate an item of their choice.
Here’s an idea: Make a mug or dessert plate to use for snack time at each meeting.
Most of our items range in price from $7 (4-inch tile or Christmas ornament) to $22. We have over 500 different items to
choose from, including mugs, plates, bowls, vases, banks, boxes, collectibles, etc.
All-Inclusive Price Includes: Instruction, encouragement, an abundance of wonderful, colorful ideas, use of paint &
supplies and firing. All our paints are non-toxic and water-based. All items are food safe, too!
Girl Scout groups of 10 or more receive a $2 per person discount off any pottery painting item over $12.95
We love families! Siblings and parents are welcome to participate in Girl Scout activities for the same cost.
Projects will be glazed and fired and ready in one week.
Clay Projects:
Create a clay sculpture item of your choice. Learn to make a pinch pot, coil pot, clay wall flower cone vase, tile, picture
frame, 2 clay ornaments or 2 clay magnets. Cost: $12.95 per person
Clay class includes: instructions, use of clay tools, paint and firings. Projects will be ready in 2-3 weeks.
Earn a Petal:
Earn the Spring Green Petal "considerate and caring" by making clay magnets, ornaments or a wind chime. Donate them to
a nursing home, church or group home.
